SYNOPSIS

The Country Women’s Circles was Quebec’s first women’s group. Echoing a bygone time, the Circles still hold cooking contests and quilting bees, and are to this day an important part of small-town life across the province. All That We Make is a portrait of the group as seen through the stories of Yolande, Thérèse, Francine and Anne-Marie, four accomplished women whose lives embody ideas of generational transmission, passion, and the need for belonging and recognition. The film is a sensitive, heartwarming look at how the company of kindred spirits can keep obsolescence at bay.
